Overview

Journey Arequipa to Cusco by Bus. Avoid high train fares and travel safe and secured in modern buses. On-board entertainment included.

This is a 10 hours journey between Arequipa and Cusco.

Buses leave Arequipa towards Cusco twice a day: at 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm. You will be able to choose the departure time (20:00 or 20:30) after choosing your journey date on the booking form.

All buses have comfortable seats with at least 140° recline and most of the buses have onboard entertainment with selected movies (160° recline seats are also available as extra in the extra section before checkout).

Snack and hot drinks are offered for all passengers.

This transfer service is an excellent alternative to expensive train services and you will spend less time traveling compared to the train (train journey takes around 10 hours).

Do passengers need to exchange their ticket for a boarding pass?

Yes, passengers must exchange their bus ticket for a boarding pass before boarding.
Passengers will need to go to the bus counter in order to get their their boarding pass.
It is highly recommended to arrive 45 minutes before the departure time.

Departure point is at Arequipa Bus station. The exact departure point address will be provided on the confirmation email that include your bus tickets.

Passengers will be dropped off at Cusco bus station.

Peruways will try to allocate seats together for passengers booking together on the same order. If there are not seats together when passengers make their booking, the system will allocate seats as near as possible.

You are allowed to bring 1 piece of checked baggage 35.5 x 29.5 x 16 inches (90 x 75 x 43 cm ) and 1 piece of carry-on bag 16 x 12 x 6 inches (40 x 30 x 15 cm).
